Ladies, feeling anxious? Join the women’s Bible study Tuesdays, from 9:00-11:00 AM, and rediscover the power of prayer and take control of our thoughts with Max Lucado’s Anxious for Nothing Bible study.  Childcare is provided. Bring a friend along, too!

 

Through March 18, we’ll be raising funds for “My Coins Count,”  a Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) program that supports food programs for hungry people in developing countries around the world. Our congregation’s goal is to raise over $2,000 this year. Collection of coins and monetary donations starts today. Children, youth, and adults are encouraged to give sacrificially to make an eternal difference!

 

The Milton Ministerium invites you to “Soup and the Word” luncheons during the Lenten season. Meals will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 47 Walnut Street, Milton, from 12:00-1:00 PM, Wednesdays, through March 28. A simple meal will be served at noon, followed by a short meditation by a local pastor.

This year’s Women’s Retreat will be held from Friday evening, March 9, to Sunday lunch, March 11, at the Penn Valley Christian Retreat Center in McVeytown, PA. Melissa Pearce will speak on the topic “Rising Above Change.”  The registration deadline is February 28.
